As a veterinary clinic we believe that here is the best place for your furry friend to board while you are away, especially if they require medication or have any current medical conditions.
At our cattery each cat has their own space. Individually housing cats in spacious accommodation is essential for accurately monitoring each pet’s day-to-day habits, picking up on any issues and avoiding inter-cat aggression and isolating behaviours. As cats exercise isometrically (by stretching) our housing provides them with ample room to move. If you wish to board multiple cats with us, up to two cats may board in the same standard accommodation if they get along well, or up to three in one of our sizeable runs.
Our cattery is nice and warm with lots of natural light and floor space. Our guests are able to jump out for a run around and to play with the scratching towers as our team does the cleaning of their area. As our team are obvious animal lovers, cuddles are plentiful in our cattery with each cat getting one-on-one attention.
Do you have a scared or shy cat? For these cats we recommend bringing along a cat igloo for them to hide in so that they feel safe and secure until they become more confident. These can usually be purchased in store upon your arrival.
The veterinary care area of our cattery is run by our qualified veterinary nurses. Medications and special treatments are administered to each guest as required and records of your cat’s day-to-day habits while here are taken. Should the veterinary nurse ascertain that your pet requires any medical attention or just a quick check over one of our Veterinarians is never far away.
Does your cat need dental therapy or blood work? We can usually get anything vet related done during their stay with us, saving you the trip and efforts later and any after care can be done by our capable veterinary nurses. This is subject to availability. Just book this in when you make your cattery booking.
The cattery is supervised by our qualified veterinary nurses. Our guests are regularly checked and their day-to-day habits recorded. With our vet nurses watching over them anything out of the ordinary can usually be picked up on quickly and resolved with our veterinarians.

The cats in our cattery are fed twice daily, unless requested otherwise by the owners. We feed Hill's Optimal Care dry kibble which is a small sized kibble that is highly palatable and nutritious.
Hill’s Science Diet Adult Optimal Care Original cat food provides precisely balanced nutrition to maintain vital organ health and lean muscles. It contains a precise balance of essential nutrients and clinically proven antioxidants to maintain superior overall health and a strong immune system. It also has added taurine to help maintain heart health and controlled phosphorus to maintain kidney health.
Water is refreshed daily and topped up as needed to ensure it is available 24/7 to your pet.
If your pet requires a particular or prescription diet this will need to be provided in a quantity sufficient for your pet’s visit. If your cat does run out of food during their stay another bag will be added to their visit record.
Boarding costs include veterinary nurse time, cleaning, feeding, litter and bedding. We feed only the best Hill's Pet Nutrition kibble.
If you wish to board more than one cat with us, they may be boarded together if they get along well.
