Can I still see a Vet during COVID19?

Can I still see a Veterinarian?

Yes, we are back to providing our full services as a clinic. However, we are required to provide services in a ‘safe’ manner which means adhering to the social distancing rules and only permitting one healthy adult to accompany pets into clinic.

Can I still get my pet vaccinated?

We are again able to provide booster vaccinations on appointment as well as puppy/kitten vaccinations.

If you live in Christchurch, you can get your pet vaccinated easily as of Monday May 18 through Ourvets Riccarton who are temporarily a vaccination only clinic. No appointment needed just walk in during their opening hours, see all the details here: ourvetsriccarton.co.nz

What if my pet needs an operation or dental procedure?

Routine procedures can take place via appointment and will adhere to social distancing rules and safe practices.

How can I pay for my vet visit?

We are only accepting contactless payment methods including debit/credit card payments, online payments, or payments over the phone.

Can I still pick up food or medication during COVID19?

Can I still pick up food or medication?

Yes. We are able to meet all your food and medication needs. Just give us a call when you arrive at the clinic to organise the pickup of pre -ordered and pre-paid food and medication. This must be done in advance to enable our team to prepare these for you.

What if I am isolating and pet needs medical care?

In this case we ask that a non-vulnerable family member or friend bring in your pet. Please let us know in advance if someone else is bringing your pet in due to illness or isolation requirements so we can make appropriate preparations.  If this is not possible, please call us to make other arrangements.
